The Comenius Project is a cooperation between three schools in three different countries: Austria, Sweden and England. The aim of the project is to study the environment in the neighborhood of the schools. Three areas of study are included in this project: water, soil and soil organisms. The project called "The Development of an Eco-School-Model in an International Setting" was started in 1997. The main research was done during the school year 1997/98. The three schools that are participating in the project are:

Bogenhofen is responsible for the soil project, Ekebyholmsskolan for the water project and Stanborough School for the soil organism project. This means that all three schools have the same program in these areas but one of them plays a leading role in the practical work.
The European Union sponsors the Comenius Project.
